Flare and Flare

Outfit details: Burberry leather jacket (similar here), H&M top (similar here and here), M Missoni skirt (similar here and here), Chloé shoes, Valentino bag, Stephanie Kantis necklace

One of the things I like about having a blog is that it helps me to remember outfits that I've worn and liked.  I wore this one a ton last year. I love the flare hem of the skirt and paired it with another flare in a peplum top.

Brunch in Valentino and Distressed Denim

Outfit details: Valentino cape (similar one here), Equipment blouse, AG jeans (similar here), Chanel flats (similar here and here), Dylanlex necklace, Marni bag, Hermés belt and bracelet

I wore this a couple of Sundays ago to have brunch with my friend Lani. We went to our favorite spot in Boston for Sunday brunch; Mistral. It's the most decadent of brunches but well worth the calorie splurge. I love a cape in the fall and this one from Valentino is no exception. I have a pair of trousers in the same color that I often wear it with but I also love it with a pair of distressed jeans.

Outfit details: Michael Kors jacket (similar jacket on sale in ice blue) and trousers, Equipment blouse, Christian Louboutin shoes, Valentino bag, Chanel pin, Hermés bracelet

Happy Monday, hope you've all had a great weekend! I went to a new restaurant Friday night called Doretta in the old Via Matta space. It's mostly small plate Greek food and I thought it was delicious. I'll definitely be going back. I also saw two movies this weekend; Saturday morning I saw The Intern. It was super cute and just what you would expect from a Nancy Meyers film. Plus I loved Anne Hathaway's wardrobe. I'm going to have to do some research on that! Then Sunday I saw Bridge of Spies. It's a Spielberg movie based on a true story and I found it fascinating. it's set in the late 50s/early 60s during the height of the cold war. I'm a sucker for spy movies and this one did not disappoint.

Weekend Casual Attire

Outfit details: Cashmere duster (on super sale), Diane von Furstenburg top (old), J Brand jeans, Gianvito Rossi booties, J Crew necklace (similar here), Hermés bracelet, Valentino bag

Just a quick outfit post from a couple of weekends ago. Hope your week is going well. I'm planning on doing a video this weekend so stay tuned for that!

Black and Pops of Color

Outfit details: Stella McCartney blazer (on major sale), Vince top, ALC skirt, Valentino shoes, Dylanlex necklace, Balenciaga bag, Chanel pin

I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago to work and then to the FGI Boston event at M. Flynn where Alan Anderson made an appearance with his fabulous jewels.  I had my eye on this necklace I posted on instagram; I didn't pull the trigger but it did find itself a nice home. Erica Corsano of the Boston Herald did a couple of fabulous writeups on Alan and the event.

I loved wearing this outfit.  This Stella McCartney blazer is the one I got on sale (it's even less expensive now - below $500) and I've been wearing it a ton. I love how the ALC skirt pairs perfectly with these Valentino shoes.
