Spring Fling - Kate Spade

A few years ago I had a love affair with Kate Spade. Everything was colorful, exciting and new. I made lots of room in my closet for Kate Spade and there was almost no other clothing line that I loved as much (I was *almost* monogamous). Then as with any relationship, I got that itch. The clothes seemed old and I was bored so I strayed. But the spring 2013 line reminds me of why I loved it so much years ago. It's back to being whimsical, colorful and fresh.
I should also mention that my favorite salesperson at Kate Spade on Newbury Street in Boston is now back. Gina left a few years ago to manage the store out in Chestnut Hill but thankfully she's back in my 'hood. I bought the checkered Franny coat (in picture 4 above) and the checkered Davis capris, which I will of course wear both together and with lots of other things. I've also got my eye on that pink jacket in the first picture and the hot pink shoes in the second.

I'm in love and have been so excited ever since I first saw sneak peeks during fashion week! Kate Spade is the first designer brand I ever fell in love with, and I'm still loyal :)
