Fall Trends - Girls Will Be Boys

Borrowing from the boys is one of fall's big trends. I'm usually more whimsy and girly girl but I do like a tailored trouser and oversized blazer from time to time. So why not borrow a bit from the gents for fall? My friend and Neiman Marcus personal shopper/stylist Elisha was kind enough to help me fill out the fall wardrobe.

Chanel patent loafer (I toyed with the idea of these leopard ones and I like these and these too)

I'm going to get a ton of wear out of these patent Chanel loafers. They'll be perfect with jeans, ankle pants or wide leg trousers. What I love the most about them is the burgundy/brown color with the navy accent plus they're a nice change from the trusted ballet flat.

Manolo Blahnik lace up color block oxford 

A lace up oxford with a heel will be fabulous with both a wide leg trouser or a pencil skirt. I think this heel is low enough that I almost consider it a flat so I'm especially excited to borrow the low heel height from the boys. Will you be borrowing from the boys this fall?
