Saturday Night at Miel (and a rant about Boston's cabbies)

Saturday was a 90+ degree day yet it was impossible to find a cab that was appropriately cool. Many of Boston's cabs are nice and new so you think they would put AC vents in the back. As if that's not enough the partition between the front of the cab, which actually has air vents and the back of the cab which does not, doesn't open. What genious thought this was a good idea?!
Dinner was at Miel at the Intercontinental Hotel. It was a gorgeous night out and as you can see the Intercontinental has some lovely outside space on the Boston waterfront. As we ate our dinner, we looked out on the bright blue hydrangeas, the hotel's super cool outdoor bar area and the water.

LOVE this color on you- it's like you were trying to channel cool temps with the shade. And yes, I have experienced this in Boston cabs many a time. Most uncool (hah!).
