Rain Delay

When I got dressed yesterday morning, it dawned on me that this J Crew peplum top has been totally underworn.  I coveted it when I first saw it in the J Crew runway images and couldn't resist when it was actually available.  I've worn it before with the matching trousers (here) but I really like it paired with this navy Tahari pencil skirt.  I had planned to meet up with a couple of my favorite blogger buddies, Lani and Naina, but the rain put a snafu in that plan and my plan to actually have some outfit shots taken out of the confines of my home for a change.

I remember this top from the outfit before, I agree that it needs more wear! The heavy rain in NYC caused some social problems for me last week, but I also had a night or two in to re-coup which was great.
