It's hard to believe that 2012 is so close to its end. This year has had its challenges but it's also had its share of great times and plenty of super fun outfits. Since I'm an utter clutz and broke my camera, I thought I'd reflect on some of my 2012 faves until the arrival of the new camera.
The DKNY cape (lace version here) has been a staple for me in my wardrobe. It covers a multitude of sins but I still feel chic wearing it. This also reminded me of the electric blue Mulberry postman's lock booties that need to be worn again.
The H&M sweater was on repeat last year and is on repeat again this year. It's starting to look a little tattered and pilled but what can you expect from H&M? I'm looking forward to whipping out the neon Proenza Schouler bag (classic tan version here) for spring.
When I bought the tan Zara coat I never imagined the mileage I would get out of it.
The surf print jeans are a bit crazy but I still love them. I'm also happy to see that the Valentino rock studs are still going strong with lots of new versions for spring (I love the pink ankle strap sandals).
Here's the Zara coat again but this time paired with my favorite all over print from J Crew.
This outfit is a perfect example of high end (Lanvin top) meets High Street (H&M parrot print skirt). Sadly I've gained a few pounds since I last wore this skirt but I hope by the time spring arrives I can wiggle my way back into it.
Have a wonderful new year's eve tonight! Enjoy your family, friends and be safe!!
