I had a friend in town this past weekend from California who invited me to see the Nutcracker. The Boston Ballet production of the Nutcracker is a tradition but this year the set and costumes were re-done. I found it to be more modern than the prior production but it still maintained the classic Nutcracker that keeps people going back year after year. If you haven't gone to see it, I highly recommend it.
Before the show, we bellied up to the bar at Sip around the corner which I recommend for pre-theater sips and nibbles.
Oh, and we have to chat about these booties from Zara. I bought them last year and have probably only worn them a handful of times. I was at work Friday when all of a sudden, the heel broke. I had to run home and change shoes. It was a good thing I had an extra pair of shoes at my desk or else I would have had to go home wearing only one shoe.
I hope you had a great weekend!!

Ahhh the blessing and curse of Zara's cheap chic. What a disaster, and I was just thinking how cute they looked!
I need to get out to see the new Nutcracker - everyone is impressed by it! Your shirt is adorable.
Ah, what a shame about the shoes! I'm a lurker and don't comment very much, however have you ever done a post about quality versus quantity when it comes to clothing?
Adorable!! Love that top on you. I'm headed to the Nutcracker on Friday and may have to make a stop at Sip before...!
beautiful color on you!
You look like a million bucks. Too bad about the booties but Zara is cheap and fast, and you deserve classy and long term!
