Green Accents

This past Friday I took the day off of work to attend the Breast Cancer Research Foundation luncheon and symposium at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Tory Burch is a member of the board of the BCRF and since she was going to be there, I thought it only appropriate to wear something from her line and this navy tweed Tory Burch jacket was it. I paired it with a J Crew pencil skirt and added green accents with the shoes, bag and baubles.
As for the event itself, the room was aptly full of pink thanks to the whimsical Marimekko linens and the pink flowers from Winston Flowers. This event is really about the speakers who are brilliant local researchers and clinicians in the Boston area. It reminds me of how thankful I am to live in an area so filled with the most talented doctors in the world.

Your outfit is splendid, as is that necklace!! It is so chic and a great length. Of course, I love the marimekko print, I have the same design in coffee mugs!
